Biographical Note

Jean Helen Westra Oldham went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 9, 2025. She was born to John and Nellie Westra, of Waupun, Wisconsin. She graduated from Calvin College, Grand Rapids, Michigan, and taught school in Patterson, New Jersey and Chicago, Illinois before marrying Oliver Oldham of California. They finally settled in Monona, Wisconsin and raised 5 children. Jean taught in the Madison area, and was a school librarian for 32 years. Jean was also a gifted musician, playing many instruments, and organ for church services.
