Abstract
This Collection consists of letters Louise Brinks of Holland, MI received from her pen pal, Miny Roffel, who lived in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The first letter is dated March 10, 1947 and is addressed to Miss Louise Dykstra. Starting in 1949, Louise had married and the letters are addressed to Mrs. Roger Brinks. The last letter from Miny in the collection is dated December 21, 2012.
In 1980, the Brinks travelled to Amsterdam and met Miny and her husband, Roger Verleur.
Louise was born on December 16, 1922 and died April 11, 2016 at the age of 93.
Miny was born on February 5, 1927 and died September 18, 2015 at the age of 88.
